Topkapı Palace

Let's learn some information about a palace that takes an important place in history, especially between 1500-1900. Turkish people are known as former Ottoman Empire. Most of the Turkish people are proud of living on the territory who run the world in the past. The palace was transformed into museum after 1924. It is not just a historical place to see, there is a great view of Bosphorus at the end of the palace. Do not forget to go that part to take pictures.

If you wanna learn more about history in details, I highly recommend you to take audio guide from the entrance.

The entrance fee to the palace is 40 Turkish Liras.

For Harem Area, it is 25 Turkish Liras.

If you are down to visit many museums, I recommend you to buy museum card as soon as possible. Because in this way, you have access to get into the palace for free, even though your museum card is not enough to get into some parts of the palace such as Harem and Aya Irini.

The palace is closed only on Tuesdays.
