Be Fit No Matter What

I saw many friends of mine who get 5 Kilos after a semester. I do not know whether it is on your to-do list. However, if it is not, you are at the right place. If you are reading this sentences after you get some weight while you were in exchange, you are also welcome because I also experienced that. I am not the most sportive person in the world and I do not do work out as you think. I am just a normal student. However, I have courage to do whatever I want, so as you! Even though you got some weight, there is still time to get shaped again. For example, when I understood that I got 4 kilos in exchange, I challenged myself to lose them before turning back because it is really hard to hear from everyone that you got some weight after exchange. So, these are my recommendations for you to avoid this situation.

1- Get "Nike+Training" application on you phone and let the application lead you. If you like running, for instance I challenged myself to run 8K each day till 21st day. You can shorten or extend this time period. I did 21 days because I heard that after 21 days you get used to it. It is so true! Also, if you do not like doing something after 21 days you start to like it. It is all about psychology, believe it or not. There are many different applications as well. For instance, if you wanna run, there is RunKeeper and Nike+Run Club ( You can synchronize this application with Nike+Training. ) If you like doing yoga or pilates there are plenty of yoga and pilates videos on YouTube. For example, I recommend you to watch Youtube Channels. There are plenty of channel if you just type what you wanna do.

2- Eating is the most important thing. For example, I like to eat every single new things. However, at the end I learned that even though it is super delicious new thing that you have never seen, it turns out to be really similar food you have tried so far. So, that is enough eating. Do not get me wrong, I am just kidding! I also did not stop trying new things. Never. The world is full of new things so out motto is always "Give it a try!" However, it doesn't mean that you need to eat huge portion of every single new thing. For example, I start to share after I become more careful about that. I bought small pieces even though I want to eat the bigger one. In this situation you can fool yourself by saying "I will buy another small one if it would not be enough for me." And always it is enough. So you do not have to spend money and get calories out of that.

Moreover, even though all calorie calculations seem hard to yourself, the math is pretty simple. If you do more than you eat then you will loose weight. So, just focus on be not full all the time. Have enough food but not much. However, after this knowledge so many people let themselves starving and then convince themselves that they deserve a big burger to eat. Please do not do that. One more thing to say is that if you have favorite food, please stop eating them at least eat less of it. For example, when I was in San Francisco, I loved to go to different cafes to drink different coffees. I found a really amazing cafe which is my best. (If you ever go to SF, please type "Home Cafe" in Sunset and drink birthday cake!) I went there almost every single break I had but one day, I told myself that I got enough of it and convince myself find amazing spots in SF. In this way, I had more chance to explore city.

3- Increase the sport in your life. Do not wait others to help you out. Once we had create an event with my friend and we called it "Run for Fun!" and we ran most of the Sundays. Exchange is the best place to do that, because no one cares! No matter where you are and what you do. Get most of it!

4- If you live in the place which has not many hills then you have many good reasons to use bike instead of Uber or Lyft. Even though the bike seems pretty expensive on the first side, I am pretty sure it is not because Uber is always much expensive

Do not forget, it is for you!

Don't be ordinary!
