The University of Queensland

Queensland University St Lucia Campus is huge and situated very near CBD (Central Business District). If you have never studies outside of Koç Campus, I strongly recommend you study here. It is surprisingly big and it has impressive biological diversity. Comparing to Turkey, Brisbane is similar to Antalya or Izmir. Throughout the year, Queensland state has the most sunny days that’s why it is called ‘Sunshine State’. Number of sunny days is much higher compared to other parts of Australia.

The city is not super close to the ocean. However, there is a beach right next to the river that crosses the city. It’s called South Bank.

Since there are so many universities in the city, the nightlife never stops. You can find people out dancing and drinking and having fun every day of the week. The music taste of people in Australia ‘s not like Turkish ones but I’m sure you will have fun with a group of friends.

University of Queensland is not a small university. There are more than 1000 exchange students. You can guess the number of local students.

There is a student club called Quest which is only for exchange students. They come together and arrange parties, trips and other fun activities. Also, there are so many Scandinavian exchange student they have their own club which is Scandinavian Students Club. They also host pretty cool parties.
