Do you wanna Work while You are Studying? Meet with Work&Study
We are living on the mountain and it is much harder than you think to find a job sometimes. Moreover, if you do not know Turkish, it is of course way much harder. However, our university offers us jobs if you wanna help out some employees in Koc University and believe it or not there are so many things to do.
I wanna start first with the opportunity to work with professors or in their labs depending your area. If you wanna work with any particular professor in Koc University, you can e-mail them and as for whether they need help. Generally, if you wanna do that you need to mention about your background in the mail and you need to e-mail them as soon as possible because so many students wanna work with professor. However, if you could not have chance to work with professors or in their labs then there are still opportunities that you can give it a try. This process is happening generally the first week of the semester. You can work in the library. In that case, I highly recommend you to talk with people from library before applying for. In this way, they can know you instead of seeing you with so many students who apply for the same position. As I told in another post, there is also a job opportunity in KOLT which you can help out students who need help with their courses like Conversation Circles. In addition to that, we have a class called ACWR which is a class that we need to write so many papers and there are so many students like me who is not good at writing. You can apply for a job to help those people.
Also, there is a site called OIP.ku.edu.tr which you may already know also help you out to find the job for a semester. The only thing you need to do is to see the link below.

This site could help you out if you are also looking for internship. For example, there was an exchange student who created this site first and now we are developing what she had created. So, do not lose your hope or think that it is hard to find a job. If you have enough courage to do that, then there are plenty of jobs out there for you.
As I told you work and study applications are happening on the first week of the semester and you will probably receive an email about that, when it starts and it lasts for a week usually. So, do not forget to check out your e-mail. This is the most important thing I would say because everything in our university runs on the e-mail and we love e-mailing!
You need to apply for work&study on KUSIS which is our portal to access everything about university. You probably used it to enroll classes as well.
