With approx. 13,000 full-time students, nearly 2,000 part-time students, almost 250 PhD students and close to 600 faculty members, Aarhus BSS ranks among the largest business schools in Europe. Furthermore, it is the largest business and social sciences unit in Denmark at university level with a broad academic base, encompassing both traditional business disciplines and social science disciplines.
The strategy of Aarhus BSS for the period 2017-2020 supports Aarhus University’s four core activities – research, education, talent development and knowledge exchange. Achievement of the strategic goals presented in the strategy will serve to position Aarhus BSS among leading international research and educational institution benefitting students, businesses, organisations, the public sector and society at large.
The school has a detailed strategy implementation process in place and is continuously monitoring the progress of its departments in relation to the strategic goals and actions as part of its annual strategic planning cycle.

To improve the quality and relevance of our research-based education to ensure optimal employment opportunities for our graduates on national and international job markets.

To significantly improve the quality of our research output and increase external research funding.
