Exchange students should have a level of French at least A2 in the Common Framework of Reference (CECR) for Languages: see the webpage above for International students.

11 international Masters are taught in English: some courses can be take in English. Be careful because access to these Masters is restricted. http://www.grenoble-inp.fr/courses/

Graduate courses are open to exchange students (1st and 2nd year of engineering school) based on their education and their prerequisites.

French public health insurance is compulsory for non European students upon their arrival: € 215 A private contract is not allowed Compulsory fees remaining for exchange students : € 21,10

Students have to apply to the CEF on-line procedure (33 countries are concerned) http://www.campusfrance.org/en/page/one-several-ways- %E2%80%A6

Others students, except European students, have to apply for a student visa at the French embassy of their country of residence. We highly recommend starting the procedure very early.
