Exchange students should have a level of French at least A2 in the Common Framework of Reference (CECR) for Languages: see the webpage above for International students.

French public health insurance is compulsory for non European students upon their arrival: € 215 A private contract is not allowed Compulsory fees remaining for exchange students : € 21,10

Others students, except European students, have to apply for a student visa at the French embassy of their country of residence. We highly recommend starting the procedure very early.
